Vitamin Infusions

Vitamins are an essential part of our growth and nutrition that cannot be synthesized in our own body. There are 13 essential vitamins that include vitamin A, C, D, E, K, and the B vitamins (thiamine, riboflavin, niacin, pantothenic acid, biotin, B6, B12, and folate). Other beneficial nutrients include magnesium, zinc, glutathione (detox and immunity), NAD (nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide). Unfortunately, many of us may not always get the amount of vitamins and other nutrients that we need in our diet due to our lifestyle. Many of us are busy, and it is tough to incorporate a healthy diet into our regimen. Alcohol and hangovers can cause an imbalance of many nutrients, and other chronic illnesses and medications can contribute as well. Some of our mood and physical ailments may be directly related to an imbalance of these essential nutrients. Here are some of the IV Vitamin Infusions that we offer:

  • Vitamin C
  • B complexes
  • Magnesium
  • Zinc
  • Vitamin D3
  • Glutathione
  • NAD

Ozempic (generic semaglutide)

Ozempic is a medication used to treat type 2 diabetes. It works by increasing insulin production and reducing glucose production in the liver. However, one of its side effects is weight loss.

In clinical trials, patients taking Ozempic have experienced significant weight loss. In a study published in Diabetes Care in 2018, researchers found that patients who took Ozempic lost an average of 4.5% of their body weight over a period of 26 weeks. In comparison, patients taking a placebo lost an average of 1.5% of their body weight over the same period.

The weight loss effects of Ozempic are believed to be due to its influence on the appetite-regulating hormone glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1). GLP-1 is released in response to food intake and helps regulate appetite, insulin secretion, and glucose production. Ozempic mimics the effects of GLP-1 and helps reduce appetite, leading to weight loss.

It is important to note that Ozempic should only be used under the guidance of a healthcare provider and is not intended or approved for weight loss alone. It is important to use this medication as part of a comprehensive treatment plan that includes diet and exercise modifications.

If you would like to add Ozempic to your weight loss regimen, we want to help. Contact us for more information to see if Ozempic is a good treatment option for you.
