Our Center – Novel Mind Center

Novel Mind and Wellness Center is here to provide you with the most up-to-date treatments for a myriad of mental health disorders and pain syndromes resistant to current medical therapies. Our team is made up of a board-certified physician medical director, CRNA, and registered nurse all with many years of real-world clinical experience. The purpose of our center is to combine our qualified medical knowledge with the use novel treatment modalities, including ketamine, to treat patients suffering from treatment resistant mental health disorders, such as depression, PTSD, and anxiety as well as chronic pain syndromes including CRPS and migraines.

The Science of Ketamine

First synthesized in 1962 and has become widely used as an anesthesia drug today in high doses.
Lower doses, Ketamine has been shown to cause a glutamate surge, which helps with antidepressant effects.
Ketamine also acts on pain receptors, similar receptors as opiates, to help with chronic pain.
Studies have shown that 75% of patients have shown immediate and profound improvement in their depressive symptoms after treatment.
