Dr. Jamie Lee Sorenson is a dedicated psychiatrist with a passion for comprehensive mental health care. She completed her undergraduate education at Florida State University before earning her medical degree from the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. Dr. Sorenson pursued her residency in psychiatry at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where she developed a deep commitment to treating diverse and complex psychiatric conditions.
Her clinical interests are centered around Women’s Mental Health, Reproductive Psychiatry, LGBTQI Mental Health, and Homeless Outreach. Dr. Sorenson has a unique ability to address the whole patient, an expertise she refined through her work with homeless populations in Nashville and Denver. This experience has proven invaluable in her practice, particularly in reproductive psychiatry, where tracking pregnancy and postpartum symptoms requires nuanced understanding and care.
Dr. Sorenson is also enthusiastic about psychedelic psychiatry, having witnessed its transformative impact on her patients. She supports the innovative work of Novel Mind and Wellness Center and is keen to contribute to advancements in medication management in this emerging field.
