Kelly Ashling comes to Novel Mind with over 20 years in the Healthcare IT industry both locally and across the country. Having a Master’s in IT Management from Florida State University and studying for a PhD in Information Assurance at Colorado Technical University, her knowledge in the IT security space is a welcome addition to the team of clinical staff working with the latest technologies to support patient care. From hospital systems, software development, and government agencies at local, state and federal levels, she is well versed at what it takes to keep data and information private, secure and accurate. From time to time you may see her helping around the office while constantly testing and verifying that all of our computer and network systems are reliable, redundant and meet all regulatory requirements for data at rest, in transport and during retrieval. As our in-house Compliance Officer she is available to answer any questions you have regarding how your personal information is protected from unauthorized access or use. From connecting to our free wifi or assisting you with our easy to use app to access your care team, tell us how you’re feeling or manage payment types, Kelly is a critical part to keeping our staff workflows as efficient as possible so they can focus on providing you with the best care at each and every visit.
